Full Time 35 hours per week

NJC equivalent: Points 28-31 - £23,945 - £26,539

Greater Manchester Youth Network (GMYN) is looking to recruit a Development Officer to work on the Greater Manchester Talent Match programme with our other delivery partners.

This role has two key roles:

Volunteering: This will include supporting volunteering infrastructure and volunteer involving organisations to coordinate, develop and evaluate the inclusion of meaningful youth volunteering activities mainly in support of the Greater Manchester Talent Match programme. There will be a strong focus on supporting organisations to develop volunteering activities that increase the employability of Greater Manchester Talent Match participants through the development of key skills and experiences that are transferable into a working environment.

Training: Developing and coordinating the Greater Manchester Talent Match training programme. This will include coordinating and being responsible for the training programme for commissioned Talent Coaches and commissioned organisations.

The role will include developing suitable training resources ensuring high quality training delivery is achieved throughout the Greater Manchester Talent Match programme; and working with the GMCVO project officer to deliver network and learning opportunities such as the main Talent Coach forums.
The position is based at GMYN’s office in Ardwick, Manchester.
