Exciting opportunity to set up and manage a new GMCDP Project
Funded by the Kevin Hyett Legacy Fund, the project will support young disabled people to become GMCDP volunteers and play an integral part in taking our organisation forward. The project will provide volunteers with appropriate training and support to ensure that full participation is possible.
The Project will offer a varied range of opportunities for young disabled people including developing leadership skills, improving GMCDP’s online presence, supporting the production of Coalition and other publications, getting involved in GMCDP campaigns, organising events, becoming trainers, refreshing our publicity and much more.
We are recruiting a Project Co-ordinator to lead this project. Initially this will be an 18 month post and will be extended if additional funding can be secured.
The Co-ordinator will be responsible for the management, development and delivery of the project and for recruiting and supporting the involvement of volunteers.
