Natural Recovery have plenty of things going on this month and they need your help! Everything takes place at Syrian House, which is a care home for people with mental health needs (Sandiway Road, Sale. M33 5AL)
Do you have any artistic skills?
Then they need your help to fill their garden with creative pieces of eco-art. Do you think you can paint and decorate an old shed? Can you create sculptures out of clay, willow, stone or any other interesting material? Can you carve wood? They are looking for talented volunteers willing to work with the residents, other volunteers or just by themselves to create pieces of art for the Sensory Garden. Drop an email to firstname.lastname@example.org if you want to be part of it!
Future members of the committee WANTED!!!
They are looking for people interested in being part of the committee of Natural Recovery. As a committee member, your responsibilities will be to ensure the community group is running smoothly and to plan ahead for future projects. Natural Recovery was founded a year ago and received a grant from Ecominds to create a Sensory Garden at a care home for people with mental health needs. The aim of the group is to continue helping disadvantaged groups enjoy nature and the environment. Learn more at www.naturalrecovery.org.uk
