Here Come the Girls!

VCAT are hosting a Trafford Women in Business promotional event on: 

Thursday 12th July

from 5pm to 11pm

at Sale Rugby FC, Heywood Road Sale, M33 3WB

We are looking forward to this event where a number of Trafford based female led businesses are exhibiting including many who have taken part in VCAT’s Women in Business start-up programme over the last 18 months sponsored by NatWest Skills and Opportunities funding. This free event is open to the public and we welcome you to come and meet these new businesses and social enterprises, sample some of the goods and services, including free samples of local food and taster therapy sessions and listen to some great speakers. No booking is necessary, please feel free to come and join us on the night.

There will be presentations by inspirational female speakers including:

Qaisra Shahraz – Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, prize winning and critically acclaimed novelist and scriptwriter and humanitarian Qaisra has offered outstanding services to literature, education, women’s rights and interfaith relationships spanning 30 years. She is the founder and director of #MACFESTUK, has won the University of Salford Alumni Achievement Award, is included in the Muslim Power 100 list and last year was recognised as the No1 most influential woman in Manchester by www.lovinmanchester.com ahead of Maxine Peak, Carol Anne Duffy and Rebecca Adlington!

Ngozi Weller -  Managing director of Aurora Wellness Ngozi is an entrepreneur, management training consultant, mentor and motivational speaker with over 15 years corporate experience. She has a special interest in women’s health and wellbeing and Aurora Wellness was established to help people cope with the consequences of stressful living by restoring balance to their lives. Her business partner Obehi Alofoje is a psychologist and stress coach also with a special interest in women’s health and wellbeing. Rachel and Laura Beattie – Rachel and Laura are sisters and the founders and directors of Careaux, a new luxury womenswear brand based in Manchester with a signature uniquely designed dress.
