Event: Adult Learners Week Celebration

Join in the UK's largest festival of learning!!

The Learning Skills Employment Network invite all organisations and community members to help them celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Adult Learners Week in Manchester.

From learning Pilates to gaining a PhD, Adult Learners' Week celebrates learning and learners in all their diversity, inspiring thousands of people each May to try something new.

Join in the UK's largest festival of learning. Lots of fun and interesting taster sessions, training activities, award ceremonies and open days are held across the city during Adult Learners' Week, inspiring adults of all ages to take their first or next steps into learning.

ALW 2011 begins on Saturday 14th May 2011 with Cultural Diversity Day at Union Street Media Arts; activities will include interactive Cultural Awareness Workshops, Street Art, creative activities as well as a drop in advice and information service visit www.unionstreetmediaarts.com for further information.

The Adult Learners Week Celebration Event will be held at the Zion Arts Centre in Hulme on Thursday 19th May 2011 from 3.00pm to 8.00pm and will celebrate the achievements of outstanding individuals and inspiring projects
