30-35 hours per week for 51 weeks
The contract will start on 9th June 2014.
If you are passionate about bringing people together, getting people talking, listening to people’s ideas and making your community a better place to live and you are able to challenge your own and others’ attitudes and assumptions then this is the role for you.
Community organisers help residents, groups, associations and businesses in their area to develop their power to act together for the common good and take action to tackle local issues which are important to them.
This is a year-long accredited training post leading to a Certificate in the Foundations of Community Organising.
You must attend a four day residential training course from Tuesday 3rd June to Friday 6th June 2014
You will be working in the Bury East area or the Radcliffe area.

Assessment Day in Manchester: Thursday 17th April 2014
Interviews: Week commencing the 21st April 2014
