Position Title: Safeguarding Board Coordinator
Salary: Grade 8 £32,486 to £36,379 (bar at £35,444) per annum
Contract Type: Permanent Full Time
Location: Town Hall Extension, Albert Square, Manchester, M60 2LA

Manchester Safeguarding Adults and Children Boards are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable adults and children. We are seeking to appoint two outstanding and highly motivated assistant board managers to support and move forward our ambitious plans for further development of the adults and children’s board.
This key role will involve:
- Assist in co-ordinating and lead multi-agency working of the adult and children’s boards;
- To monitor the effectiveness of the adult and children’s boards and ensuring board business is planned well and co-ordinated.
- Supporting the Integrated Adults and Children’s Safeguarding Board Manager to challenge and scrutinise the effectiveness of multi-agency safeguarding adult and children’s work; and
- To contribute to continuous development and improvement the performance and effectiveness of the board work via robust arrangements.;
You will be a skilled and highly motivated professionals who has significant experience of working within adults or children’s services, experience in management, you will have a strong background in safeguarding adults or child protection. You will be knowledgeable about the work of the adult and children’s safeguarding boards and the legislation and statutory guidance surrounding it, and you will have a proven ability to work confidently to promote and foster effective multi-agency setting.
