An exciting opportunity has arisen at Trafford Housing Trust for a highly organised individual who is passionate about developing and enhancing opportunities for the communities of Trafford. This is a new role which will provide the right person with an opportunity to establish and maintain a number of administration processes which will contribute to the overall effectiveness of a number of grant schemes run by Trust. These schemes offer small to medium grants to community and voluntary organisations and groups for a wide range of activities, from local health & wellbeing initiatives to urban regeneration and community development projects.
In this role, you will be responsible for the administration of grant distribution, from processing applications for grants to supporting the decision-making process and arranging payments in accordance with the Trust’s procedures. It is important that you are confident user of all Microsoft applications in order to succeed in this role.
We are looking for a confident, proactive, team-player who has a high level of attention to detail and who has the ability to work in a fast paced environment. The successful candidate will have regular interactions with the public and community representatives, requiring them to be a confident and empathetic communicator. Prior experience of working in grant or award management would be desirable but is not essential.
