Fundraising and Communications Coordinator

Our client provides outstanding education, residential, medical and therapeutic support for people with learning disabilities, epilepsy and autism.

An opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and dedicated Fundraising and Communications Coordinator to join the Fundraising and Communications team.

Reporting to the Fundraising Manager, it will be your job to produce a range of key communications for our client both internally and externally. Materials include coordinating a regular in-house magazine and updating external communications, website and social media to keep stakeholders up to date with company information and fundraising activities.

Under the guidance of the Fundraising Manager, you will work independently to research, collate and analyse information in line with fundraising strategies, you will also initiate and organise fundraising events and campaigns. An important part of the role is to increase income from and participation in events, therefore you must be able to establish effective relationships with a wide range of people. You will ensure systems and processes are in place to deliver the Fundraising Plan and provide administrative support to the Fundraising team.

All aspects of fundraising will be taught therefore ambition and commitment to your personal development is essential for this role.

The ideal candidate will be outgoing with excellent communication skills, with experience of producing written communication.

This role is perfect for someone looking for a varied and exciting opportunity. With the two different aspects of this role the candidate must be able to multi-task and work well under pressure. Part-time working will be considered with the flexibility to support events at evenings and weekends.

You must also have the use of your own car and a full driving licence.
