Salary: SCP scale 26 - 31 c. £22,400 - £26,500
We are looking for a full time Coordinator for our Cordon Vert Cookery School to be based at our office at Parkdale, a converted mansion house surrounded by private gardens, five minutes from the M56 and within close proximity to Altrincham.
Reporting to the Business and Catering Services Manager and responsible for CV Kitchen Assistants and self-employed Tutors, the person in this role will influence, inspire and support the maximum number of people to embrace and maintain a vegetarian lifestyle by ensuring that Cordon Vert runs smoothly and efficiently and offers excellent customer satisfaction.
Main duties are to be responsible for all operational matters within the cookery school including a front of house service, to coordinate permanent and self- employed CV staff, to review and develop the customer experience, coordinate the marketing and promotion of Cordon Vert and develop a client base to grow business.
As a member of the Business and Catering Services Team you will contribute to developing new courses, sales packages and promotions to attract new customers, will have strong experience of managing a service and of managing staff, along with excellent communication and customer service skills. You will clearly demonstrate through personal life experience that you are in agreement with the Vegetarian Society’s vision and values.
