Business Development Manager - Trafford Advice Partnership (TAP)
£33,000, one year fixed term contract
Who we are:
The Trafford Advice Partnership supports and signposts people to getting advice on debt, benefits, employment, support networks and legal issues. TAP partners work together to streamline the way Trafford residents access advice services. AwardedAdvice Services Transition Fund from the BIG Lottery in 2013, this project focuses on improving the quality and accessibility of services through more effective use of technology.
You will work on a strategic level with the TAP partners to identify and capitalise on business opportunities and future funding streams. You will take a lead in developing and implementing TAP’s income generation strategy, developing new products and ideas with the public, private and voluntary sector agencies.
Commercially astute, with experience in developing and delivering robust business ideas. You should be used to working with business leaders on a senior level. You are also skilled in writing tenders and funding applications and are creative, eloquent, credible and engaging. The small print: 35 hours/week, with some weekend and evening work anticipated. We operate remote and flexible working options, with excellent annual leave entitlement of 28 days, plus a 3% contributory pension scheme.
